Utah insurance
Utah insurance without the guesswork on no-fault.
We're licensed in Utah and just over the Bear Lake line from Rich County — close enough to know the market, independent enough to shop 20+ carriers for it.
Utah is a no-fault auto state, which surprises people the first time they file a claim. Your own personal injury protection pays first for medical bills regardless of who caused the crash, and there's a threshold you have to cross before you can sue the other driver. Most policies we review carry only the $3,000 statutory PIP minimum.
Homeowners along the Wasatch Front face a different set of exposures than the rest of our territory: earthquake risk on the fault line, wind and hail rolling off the benches, and rapidly rising rebuild costs in Utah County. Standard policies exclude earthquake — it's a separate endorsement, and not every carrier offers it.
We handle Utah accounts the same way we handle everything else: look at what you own, price it across the full carrier panel, and tell you honestly if the policy you already have is the right one.

What Utah drivers and owners should know
Utah is a no-fault state
Personal injury protection of at least $3,000 is required and pays your medical bills first. We usually recommend buying above the minimum — $3,000 covers one imaging study.
Auto minimums are 25/65/15
$25,000 bodily injury per person, $65,000 per accident, $15,000 property damage. Utah's per-accident figure is unusual, and many out-of-state carriers quote it wrong.
Earthquake is never included
The Wasatch Fault runs beneath the state's densest housing. Earthquake coverage is a separate endorsement with its own percentage deductible — worth pricing even if you decline it.
Wind, hail, and rebuild inflation
Bench-side hail and canyon wind events drive most Utah property claims. Check that your dwelling limit reflects current construction costs, not the 2019 number.
